- 1. What’s the process for cancelling my housing contract? Can I cancel after the fall semester?addUC Berkeley Housing contracts are for either the entire academic year or spring semester. Students who wish to cancel their housing contracts must submit a cancellation request in the housing portal. Cancellations that are not for approved reasons for cancellation (withdrawal, graduation, or study abroad) can only be approved if an eligible replacement is found to take over the contract. Please read about cancellation and appeals on our website.
- 2. Do I need to move out during break periods?addDuring winter break, campus residence halls close and residents must leave the buildings.
