-
No. As a postdoc, you do not need to renew your housing rental agreement.
-
No housing application fee, security deposit, or first month’s rent is required to renew your rental agreement on the UC Berkeley Housing portal.
-
There are two phases to renew on the housing portal: portal.housing.berkeley.edu
PHASE ONE OF FSH RENEWAL PROCESS
- Use your Calnet credentials to renew your rental agreement on the UC Berkeley Housing Portal.
- Family members: your family members who are living with you will be auto-populated on the upgraded portal and you will find their names and dates of birth at the bottom of the Family Info page of your housing account. If there are new family members to add to the rental agreement please add their names and dates of birth on the Family Info page and upload the required documentation to show a family relationship. If a family member listed is no longer living with you, please remove their name from your housing account on the Family Info page.
PHASE TWO OF FSH RENEWAL PROCESS
- Residents who have completed Phase One will receive an email message to return to the housing portal to complete the rental agreement renewal steps and to choose whether or not to opt into GradGuard personal property insurance.
