Off Campus Housing

UC Berkeley Off-Campus Rental Services (formerly Cal Rentals) is a department within UC Berkeley Housing that offers support for students, faculty and staff, providing guidance on the off-campus housing search, including rental listings and other resources for living in the City of Berkeley and surrounding areas. The service is free for students, faculty, and staff.

The Off-Campus Rental Services website provides:

• Housing and roommate listings for UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff, and UC Berkeley affiliates  
• Message boards to find roommates, sublets, buy/sell furniture, etc.
• Easy access to off-campus housing listings for students, parents, faculty, and staff
• A place for area property owners/managers to reach the UC Berkeley community

Log in with your CalNet ID and password to view listings. Guest access to the site is available for other campus affiliates.

Berkeley Housing Assistance Program

 Co-established by the ASUC Office of Senator Grottel-Brown and Berkeley Housing, the Berkeley Housing Assistance Program offers students one-on-one support with navigating the off-campus housing search. A team of students, managed and trained by the Cal Rentals office, is available to answer questions and concerns.
