xučyun ruwway Apartments

xučyun ruwway, pronounced HOOCH-yoon ROO-why, is a name in Chochenyo the language of the Ohlone people and was a generous gift from the Ohlone community.

Who’s Eligible to Apply?

Graduate students: Priority placement is given to single graduate students in the Rausser College of Natural Resources. While this complex is primarily designed for graduate students, a limited number of undergraduate students in their second year or beyond may live in the complex. xučyun ruwway is designated for single students and cannot accommodate students with families, married students, or students in a domestic partnership. For family housing options, please explore University Village.

Undergraduate Students: Undergraduate students who are not first-year students (freshmen) are eligible to apply for 2 bedroom and 4 bedroom apartments. First-year undergraduates (freshmen) are not eligible.

Inside Your Furnished Apartment

Living Room – Couch, armchair, tables (coffee table, end table, dining table and chairs)

Bedroom – Full/double extra-long bed frame, mattress, dresser, desk and chair*

Study – desk and chair**

Kitchen – Full refrigerator, microwave, stove with four burners, oven, dishwasher

Bathroom – A shared bathroom with essential fixtures for your convenience

Other – In-unit washer and dryer

*Bedrooms in the two-bedroom two-bath with private study apartments do not have a desk and chair
