Clark Kerr Residence Hall

Located six blocks from campus, Clark Kerr is a mini-neighborhood with Spanish-style architecture and tree-lined courtyards.
Clark Kerr offers a variety of housing options, including traditional residence hall rooms, suites and apartments.
The Clark Kerr dining hall serves three meals per day in a classic room, built in the 1930s.

Clark Kerr provides traditional corridor-style and suite-style rooms located in a low-rise mini-neighborhood six blocks from campus. This Spanish mission-style complex offers tree-lined courtyards, green spaces, a historic dining commons, and access to nature trails, pools, and an outdoor track. The neighborhood is ideal for students looking for a quieter, less urban environment.

Approximately six blocks southeast of the main campus at 2601 Warring Street.
Adjacent to the Golden Bear Recreation Center, which includes a swimming pool, tennis courts, and an outdoor track.
Easy access to hiking trails.

Room types

Traditional corridor-style residence hall: Rooms along a central hallway that share a communal bathroom and lounges. All-gender floors.
Suites: Collection of two to three rooms that share bathrooms, a common area, and a separate locked entrance. Suites are single-gender.

Room occupancy

Double, triple, quad, and a limited number of single-occupancy rooms are available.
Triple rooms are the most commonly available option.
General note: There are very few single rooms at UC Berkeley, and they are typically reserved for students with a documented disability need.
